Japan
is
the
home
of
many
very
determined
collectors.
What
makes
it
more
of
a
mystery
is
the
fact
that
most
Japanese
homes
are
fairly
small.
The
biggest
modern
export
is
the
Simon
alcohol
burner.
Collectors
will
note
that
the
legendary
Phoebus,
originally
Austrian,
is
now
manufactured
by
a
Japanese
company.
Coleman
collectors
are
especially
aware
of
Japan
as
Coleman
has
made
export
models
of
their
stoves
and
lamps
exclusively
for
that
market,
and
indeed
there
are
many
Coleman
collectors
in
Japan
