Manaslu

Japanese brand, belonging to Iizuca Co., Ltd. in Tokyo. Established 1957. Around 1965, the company changed their name to Hope Co., Ltd..
Hope Co. seemed to quit their operation sometime in 1980. The brand name "Manaslu" and its products were succeed to Yoshikawa Co., Ltd. and Yoshikawa still produce Model-96, Model-121, Model-126 and Model-160.

The name Manaslu probably originates with the Himalalyan mountain range.
