Mellows:
"The

(Modified).
On
these
the
front
tap
was
blocked
off
&
a
side
valve
&
silent
burner
fitted
with

needle.
The
old
front
valve
was
a
pain
to
use
&
the
burner
was
previously
a
roarer.
Westinghouse
was
only
one
of
many
contractors
that
made
this
stove.
The
number
is
the
catalogue
number
-
NSN
refers
to
NATO
Stock
Number.
Big,
heavy
&
ugly,
these
stoves
can
be
unreliable
&
prone
to
rusting
-
the
new
diesel/avtur/kero
burning
No:12
is
far
superior."
