Case
Study:
Primus
54

All
the
pics
on
this
page
were
graciously
donated
by
Ken
Weida.
This
Primus
is
well
worth
a
second
glance.
Not
only
is
the
oldtimer
more
or
complete;
it
has
a
brass
pan
support
of
a
design
seldom
seen.
Note
the
drawing
of
a
stove
in
the
logo.
The
stove
is
possibly
from
1939,
although
it
cannot
be
confirmed
yet.
On
this
specific
sample
the
top
of
the
silent
burner
has
been
secured
by
one
owner
with
a
small
metal
wire
as
seen
below.

The
54
is
definitely
produced
in
Stockholm.

This
instructive
piece
of
paper
is
possibly
even
more
valuable
to
a
collector
than
the
stove
itself.

The
bottle
can
some
times
be
found
for
sale
-
but
the
wire
brush
would
probably
be
a
very
luck
find.

This
box
could
actually
be
the
original
one,
although
that
is
unconfirmed.
The
instruction
papers
above
seem
to
have
been
sticking
on
the
underside
of
the
lid.
