Case Study:

Høvik Verk Primus 210

This sample is from my personal collection, and in great shape.. The Høvik Verk Primus 210 is a well made collapsible stove made on Primus licence, and is obviously a copy of the Primus 210L. In fact, it was made on order by Primus in 1953 to fill the gaps in their own reduced production lines. This was the only export model Høvik Verk ever made.

Top markings: LISENSTILVIRKET - HØVIK VERK - PRIMUS No 210 - REGD TRADE MARK " No side or bottom markings whatsoever.

Notice the chain for the burner hole lid.

It's a roarer burner, of course - not many stoves manufactured for outdoor use has ever had anything else!

The preheater windshield isn't collapsible, which means the disassembled stove is a tight fit in the box.

Field picture. There's not a lot of modern stoves that can manage to be THIS decorative!
