Coleman Solus

Coleman has primarily relied on American designs, but the Solus model is a fairly faithful copy of the first Primuses and was meant to be Coleman's maritime model. The sample is in VERY good condition. 

 

Height: 9". Diameter: 8.5". Net weight: 2.5 lbs. 

Note the lettering; similar font to the one used by Primus.

 

The air valve on the fuel lid is exceedingly tiny. Here you can also see the beautiful lions' legs that was more or less unique with the Solus.

 
 

Silent burner, but the Solus has also been encountered with a roarer burner.
