This interesting wick stove must have been manufactured in fairly large quantities as I have seen a number of them for sale. At first glance it looks like a kerosene lamp - designed by someone who usually made bridges! That is very thick cast iron for a home appliance. The bottom tank measures 180mm by 130mm and the whole thing is 270mm high. It's not visible on these pics but the bottom is stamped 'Dome 1901', which is presumably the year it was made.

Parted, we can see the simplicity and sturdiness even better.
