Egil
Fuhrmeister
Metalvarefabrik
&
Co,
a
Norwegian
brand
manufactured
in
Fana,
Bergen.
The
factory
was
established
in
1947
by
EgilFuhrmeister.
Egil,
his
brother
Fritz
and
their
father
owned
and
managed
the
factory
until
it
went
bankrupt
in
1977.
In
addition
to
stoves
they
also
produced
blowlamps,
petrol
cans,
design
furniture,
brass
items
and
large
trash
containers.
During
the
most
hectic
period
the
factory
emplyed
as
much
as
70
workers.
The
stove
production
was
during
the
60's.
The
factory
buildings
still
exists
,
but
is
used
for
dancing(!)
these
days.
The
